How to Navigate to the Email Log
There are 2 ways to see an Email Log on your account
On any Project's Email Log Tab
Only available to licensed users on the account
- Navigate to any Project
- Click on the Email Log on the left hand side nav
- the eyeball icon indicates that it is a private tab and not visible to your clients/collaborators
When you navigate to the Email Log tab, you will see a full list of emails that were sent out on that Project
- Name and email address
- the date and time the email was sent
- the type indicates if it was an invite, discussion, or task assignment
- the sender indicates if it was a system email (like an automatic task assignment) or a discussion/invite sent by a user or collaborator
- the status icon indicates if it was received by the person it was sent to or not.
- open envelope icon means received
- closed envelope means not received
From any Collaborator's info modal
- Navigate to any Project
- Click on the Collaborator you would like to see an email log history for
- Towards the bottom of the info modal that appears, you will see an Email Log tab
In this tab, you will see a list of all emails that were sent to your selected collaborator and whether or not they received the email or not
Some Common Example Questions
Did an invite get sent?
Check the email log. You will see if anyone or the system sent a message and whether or not the collaborator opened it
I don't think my clients/collaborators are receiving any emails
In the email log, you will see if there is a sent mail icon, an envelope, an open envelope, or a red not received/blocked icon
Troubleshooting collaborators not receiving emails
If you see a not delivered red icon in your email log or your customers keep insisting that they are not receiving emails, you can check if their email address has blocked CoordinateHQ or marked it as spam
- Navigate to Settings > Email Deliverability
- Check if their email address is in that page
